Label Expo Europe 2025 took place from September 16 to 19 in Barcelona, marking its move to Fira Gran Via after nearly 40 years in Brussels.
The event brought together more than 650 exhibitors and over 35,000 professionals from the label, printing, and packaging industries, showcasing technological innovation, automation, and sustainable solutions, with demonstrations, conferences, and discussions on the latest market trends.
Edicolor’s teams were present in the busy aisles of the exhibition (both figuratively and literally — thanks to the broken air conditioning 🙂 ) and observed with great interest the arrival of a new generation of digital presses for adhesive label printing. Higher resolution and faster print speeds, along with improved software integration, show that digital technology continues to catch up with traditional flexographic printing.
